bjms3 said:I have Bose 6 CD sterio but there is no sub. I have very little base. I have two Volvos that do not have subs in them but they each have way more base than the Mazda.
If you have a sub in your car could you tell me where it is in your car.
Thanks.
yea its all in a very small ported box...u can feel the air coming out of the port feel on the front left of the passenger seat..the port is therebjms3 said:I just checked out my car again and using a flashlight I could see that there is something by Bose under the passenger seat. I turned on the Cd and could just barely feel some base coming from the sub. I started reading in the manual about the stereo and saw that if you press the right button for two seconds it will reset your base, trebel, faid and balance settings. I pressed the button and it said "clear". When the stereo restarted all the settings were at "0". I adjusted the base to +6 and it seems like I have more base than before and there is now vibration coming from the sub under the passenger seat. I will do some more testing when I drive the car to work tommorrow morning.
u could but the best bet is to jsut get a sub in the trunk, small amp and a nice 10 would be good , it would jsut add to the stock bass etc.Springerzz said:Could you possibly replace the factory sub with an aftermarket one to give it more bass? Maybe something that has a manual gain knob you could run right under your dash. Any one have any ideas of what might work?
