Subwoofer and I-stop conflict

Hi, recently installed a Blaupunkt XLB 300 A powered subwoofer to my non-bose 2014 mazda 6. The subwoofer made the overall sound really great. Got a problem though, everytime the i-stop engine turns back on after a full stop, the subwoofer kicks giving a "thump" sound. Anyone got the same problem? Wires are connected to rear LR speakers and powered directly into car battery. Thanks.

Maybe im reading it wrong.but how is your subwoofer hooked up to your factory speakers and the sub is working?

The installer just tapped it to the left and right rear speakers. There is also a wire from the sub going to the car battery. Didn't touch the headunit.

Never installed a sub without a amp so idk how much help ill be.but in normal cases with ghost thumps.its rcas, either pinched or shorted.in your case he tapped into the door speakers.so check the wires he tapped into and see if theres something wrong with them.other than this id say take it back and have him fix it
