Hi all, may i ask, i have a IHI VF 38 turbo from a jdm legacy gt, i want to use it on my 2008 mazda cx7 disi engine, who sells the exhaust manifold flange and downpipe flange adapters for the vf38 to bolt on my stock cx7?

My last resort is to cut my stock flanges and custom the subaru flanges onto my stock setup.

I have searched and read alot but non really say about my question in detail. Most threads ended with it does not fit! Or custom it, but there is flow restriction if you weld a subbie flange to our stock exhaust manifold. Or get an atp, bnr tubo.

Sorry its a VF38.

Thanks daniel.

couldnt you also find a different exhaust housing maybe for the turbo? I know you can go from a T25 flange to a v band setup with a new exhaust housing... but i do not know if that option is available with your turbo or not.

i am in asia, US dollar is 1.3 times my currency, shipping is ALOT for heavy n bulky items. to ship the above manifold cost usd100.

Here in my country, we donot have MPS3, less than 5 MPS6, and maybe a hundred CX-7. But there is plenty of Subaru's here, so i got my VF38 cheap.

i kept thinking and reading the last few days, my objective is cost.... cheap and messy. Messy as in alot of cutting and welding will take place.

Flanges are cheap on ebay. I will need to buy a downpipe flange to fit the legacy hotside ar. saw off my stock downpipe flange and weld the legacy flange to bolt on to the legacy hotside housing.

buy a MPS exhaust manifold flange, saw off the legacy turbo exhaust flange and weld the MPS flange to the legacy turbo exhaust housing, and bolt it up to my stock manifold.

reason i modify the legacy turbo housing is because it is out, so work done on it is simple, and i donot need to remove my stock exhaust manifold to fit or modify.

the rest is easy, oil tranfer hose, water hose, turbo inlet silicone if its not the same size. and sand off the divider on the "twin scroll" legacy housing to smooth buttery knife, to avoid cracks.

please advice if the above will work, thanks!
