It's a lot of money but very well spent.
Hopefully, we'll see. fingers are crossed that I don't have anymore mechanical problemswith parts I've installed. I've had a bit of bad luck with some of them...
Oh, I suppose I can add $812.50 to the list for my MAM manifold (it's invisible to my competitors though.) JK.
All in all, I just hope I have a bit of fun this coming year. It's been a long road with a three year hiatus from racing to finish college, but finishing school has in itself provided me the opportunity to go at this full force. Life is a lot more fun when you don't have to worry about breaking stuff when you race, and then having to try to figure out how to come up with the money to fix it and dealing with all that stress.
BTW, datalogging shows that after the Nology wires, my car runs about 0.2 points leaner, so there would be a measurable hp increase with just the wires alone on the MSP. I will be richening it up because at WOT now I can hold 12.8 AFR which is a bit lean for my likes (no point in breaking it when you can prevent it!)
I will probably drop it down to about 11.6 or 11.8. From a lot of the reading I've been doing, that shouldn't change my peak torque very much. I am planning on renting the dyno for a day and making pulls all day to get it just right. The DSM AFC2 with the Super Map really does great as is, but my supporting mods are leaning it out a bit too much. Luckily it is an easy unit to make quick changes on. Even at Idle now I am running 17.2-17.8 AFR an trip an occasional Lean Idle CEL, so I may have to make a map that alters the idle range as well. First I'll play with my plug gaps, I think they are a little wide now, but I don't remember what I set them at, I think they are about 0.44. I'll try closing them up to 0.32 and seeing how much of a difference that makes.
I can't say enough great things about the TWM SS though! I love it. Although the performance gains for autocross are really moot, driving around on the street it really makes shifting a lot more enjoyable in a "I like a mechanical interaction with my car" type of way.
I am glad the SCCA Tour schedule is out already, I already have all those dates off, so now it's back to overtime so I can save money for travel expenses. Joy.
