Stupid clock question

2008 Mazda CX-9
My wife and I just bought a 2008 CX-9 that the previous owner had put an aftermarket deck with nav into. The problem is with the car's clock. It is about 51 minutes fast. Since the original head unit isn't in place, I have no way to adjust the clock. I've thought about disconnecting and reconnecting the battery at 12:00 to get it to the right time, but I'm not sure that would work. Anyone else dealt with a problem like this? Even if there was a way to disable the main clock, that would be worth it as there is a clock on the new deck. Just having one so far off is making my wife (and me by extension) crazy.

Next time you bring your CX9 to dealer for an oil change (for instances), ask the service advisor to take care of that.
My guess is that with their handheld computer, they are able to reset/adjust clock.
Just a guess.

Don't disconnect battery casually, you need to re-adjust several things (such as radio stations, window auto up/down, etc.)
Know that before you commit to do it.
