What is that dryer tubing for? What does it do?
ducts in outside air to keep the driver from baking.

RICE!!! Haha, just kidding. I love race car engineering. Function over fashion. I used to love the single wiper look on street cars too until that became rice. And air ducts from the front bumper cover or headlights to the intake.

I don't know if this has already been posted but here's a 2003 MSP turbo and Manifold for $525 shipped.

Seems like a good deal to me. Considering when I look up the GT2554R it's about $900 on its own.

I'd get it if I could afford it.

Here.

he could just turn on the a/c(dunno)

i dont see how one wiper is rice. its not rice as a matter of fact unless theres something i dont no. i do like how the wipers are mounted on the new civics. the wipers pivot from each corner of the windshield.

AC, in a race car... unlikely.

and the single wiper is rice. there is no functional advantage, and its a weight savings of maybe half a pound.

that MSP looks nice... price is damn good...

there is a functional advantage, the first one is there is one wiper motor compared to 2, one less thing that can go wrong on the car during a race, also that is probably a 3-5 lbs weight savings by eliminating one wiper and its motor. the second advantage is that it doesnt screw up the aerodynamics of the car as much with only one wiper, though it may be marginal difference, when you are pushing your car to its extreme limit every little thing matters

Also, though AC in a race car is very highly unlikely, there is one REAL race car that i know of that does have AC...the Pontiac GXPRs that run in the Grand Am Rolex series have AC...Grand Am gave the pontiac teams a weight penalty and they put AC in the cars to keep the drivers cool and add the required weight at the same time

most wiper setups use a single motor to drive both wipers.... least the ones I've seen. if you've got pics of a car with 2 wiper motors (aside from front/rear) I'd like to see it.
having a wiper up in the middle of your windshield screws up aerodynamics more than having 2 tucked right behind where the hood ends...

one motor or two, race teams want to minimize the amount of things that can go wrong on the car, such as the linkage to the second wiper...and while 2 wipers tucked under where the hood ends might cause less aerodynamic drag, most cars are not setup that way, take the protege as an example, wipers are like 2-3 inches from where the hood ends...and one wiper can be tucked under the end of the hood as well, just like the 2 could be

ok, without further jacking this thread, I wasn't aware we were talking about race cars exclusively. for that matter, a very low percentage of race cars are equipped with wipers at all... with that... I'm out.

all of the grand am and alms cars have wipers, they run rain or shine...but we can stop with the thread jacking

And I was talking about race cars in particular

ion no wagon ud bette rnot argue with him, he goes to gt tech. theres totally nothing wrong with one wiper if u want one wiper.
