STS Turbo?

So my friend told me to look up an STS Turbo. After gazing at it a bit, I thought to myself, "If you can twin turbo any vehicle via STS Turbo kit, would it be possible to *ahem* 'tripple turbo' a vehicle??" After realizing how stupid "triple turbo"-ing sounds, I began to wonder if it was possible. So, for all of you MazdaSpeed guru's out there, I need an answer to this silly, yet puzzling question:

Can you triple turbo a MazdaSpeed?

You shouldn't even go TT on our cars. You want big power then single turbo is the way to go.

QUAD TURBO KIT

This is the first known quad turbocharger installation ever to be built for a four cylinder engine as a research and development project by Owen Developments.

The project was to evaluate how small the manufacture of a turbocharger would have to be in order to produce sufficient speed not only to achieve atmospheric pressure but additional boost for each of the four cylinders.

This project illustrates the design and manufacturing capabilities of Owen Developments in this highly specialised field and is a good example of where future high performance engines may ultimately end up.

GTOs also have 2 banks of cylinders with separate fueling for each bank, hence the need for twins (ease of tuning)

the Bugatti Veyron has a W16 cylinder engine, four, count em 4 turbos, and 1001 hp. "if you build it, someone will buy it." (shocked)

STS kits are crap. i have seen some first hand. they use crush bent mild steel piping that rusts up and use very under sized turbos on their applications. that and they cost a ton of money. my buddy has a shop here in houston that did a STS style kit on a C6 that had an STS kit and in comperison blew the STS kit out of the water. ill post some of his pics if i can still find them.

yes u can triple turbo a MS3, take the turbo, hook up 2 more directly to the exhaust from the turbo before and bam, some ic piping and a huge IC and ur set

how long will the engine last and how much money will it cost to do this?

i've heard of aircraft setups with multiple turbochargers. and high speed bonneville stuff as well. i wouldn't see the need in a ride like ours (single bank, weight, tuning issues, etc)... v-block engines seem to do well with extras, and if you are looking to do a high spool, low spool deal, then start spending the money.... i'm sure you would be the first.

i always think of the first time i rode in a lotus esprit with that big 4-banger and huge turbo.... no way could you prove to me that adding some twin system would have helped out THAT car. damn that was a fun day.

A 4-banger won't handle a turbo. Speaking normally on the concept of putting turbos on a car. It's Maximum 1 turbo per header.. I beleive thats right..(hump)

NO CLUEE!! I think what I meant to say was a 4-cyl engine can only handle one turbo lol. Think I was watching something at the time I wrote this not paying attention lol
