My car has been lowered with the Tein S. Tech springs for a couple months and the front struts are feeling like they are on there last legs. I hear a scraping sound coming fron the wheel wells when I turn the wheel to far in either direction. My friend said it was the ball joints but is this sagging due to blown struts? It has gotten progressivly worse.
I went to Corksport.com and saw the E spec struts for $68 (each) and the KYBs for $100, and the MazdaSpeed Struts for $178 each.
I don't want to get something that I will have to replace in another couple months but I can't afford some $400 for struts. Would it be ok to fix the front ones now and then upgrade the rears when I get my swaybar? I know its not good to have to different struts but I imagine that it is beter to have diff struts that aren't blown out. Either way one set is less worn then the other.
