Does anyone know if there is a commercially available stroker kit for the MPS/Speed 3?
Thanks
Thanks
i've been wanting to do this to my 2.0, hopefully be able to bring it to a 2.5 (like the new models) but while i'm at it, get better internals to make it more powerful. Do you happen to know how much $$ i'd be looking at?
so in other words.. FI sounds more ideal. correct?
this is one of those "if you have to ask...." questions. This kinda of work requires a lot of money and intimate knowledge of building engines.
Alright, I was thinking maybe of stroking because then it'd become more unique and would def give a better sound to my car. Also maintenance wouldn't be as costly. But you guys are the experts so i'll take your word for it(rockon)
Yes they are. All engines are different. Now show me someone who's done it to a Mazdaspeed.
I used a Dremel and caliper on my block to up it to 2.4L. It took a few weeks, but it can be done as an extended project.
