stolen wheels

We priced it, the difference in cost was not huge, good driver, multiple cars, etc.. We're talking about 10 dollars a month over the $500 dollar deductible every policy period to not have a deductible?
I'll take the policy without an annoying extra $500 to pay if we have any thing come up, it's already come in effect when I wrecked the S40, and no policy increase after that.

I find this VERY hard to believe. Why would an insurance company do such a thing?

Some insurance companies now have that "disappearing" deductible where if you don't have an accident or claim for a year it goes down periodically until it is finally nothing. That's the only way I could see not having a deductible unless you were paying out the ying yang for insurance.

Oh, well why didn't you say so!

I get it now - instead of paying a $500 deductible only if you were to have a claim, you are choosing to pay an extra $480 every 4 years even if you don't! (uhm)(rofl)

and what does he do with the other 2 wheels he has?

Assuming his CX-7 is FWD he can do any number of things...... if he's every planning to mod the car and perhaps drag race it....... he can use those on the front wheels so he doesn't have to use his new rims and tires ;)

otherwise he could sell them on ebay..... I'm pretty sure people would still buy 2 cx-7 wheels, lol.....

or he should put a gps tracker on them...... open the garage, leave them in there and hope the dude comes back to steal them again....... then track him down and beat the crud out of him (lol2) or maybe that's just something I would do.

LOL the op has only posted the original... no updates? Inquiring minds want to know.

If you are looking for wheels cheap, I'll sell the stock wheels off my wife's for $300 + ship for all 4. They have a little more than 3000 miles on them, no blems. That way you could pocket the extra $$$ that the insurance gives you.
