Stock tail lights versus Altezzas

one of the first mods i did to my car was putting on black altezza tail lights, and after seven months, either me not liking the fitment of them on my car or me starting to like the stock ones better made me change back to the stock tail lights. Just curious as to what you guys liked better on the p5, stock or altezza?

Stock, and +1 those JDM ones looks hella tight, especially if you get a tint overlay over the clear strip in the middle (reverse)

stock with a LIGHT tint...something like bluebatmobile on here sells....adds something different while keeping it clean and would match your windows/badges

On a side note, might be worth it to get a new tip for your exhaust, oval tip in a round bumper cut just doesn't look right.

I pretty much like the Altezza, got the same ones, I'm also thinking about a small tint though, would look cleaner.

That looks like the 03.5 MSP axle-back. I have the same on my car and don't mind the look.

As for the lights, I too have the black alteeza but added the bluebatmobile smoked overlays and chrome bulbs to get rid of that nasty egg yolk effect.

Yeah, I figured it was a MSP axel back style but his seems to stick out a few more inches and be much wider.....maybe it's just the angle of the pictures

Altezzas have fallin out of favor and have gained a reputation and association with "RICE". I have altezzas and get comments all the time to change them out. I still have them but I'm considering applying a tint overlay to tone them down.

see marc, I think what you had first (EDM, JDM, whatever you crazy kids are calling that style these days) looks SO much cleaner. I guess IMO taillights just shouldn't be something that's draws your attention. You have such a clean car and then these "look at me, look at me" tails. Either way though, like everything YOU do to YOUR car,it comes down to personal choice, hehe

yeah that is a good point, when tinting taillights would you guys recommend tint spray, or a sheet of laminex over them?

i dont like tinting but if it were my decision id say do the vinyl overlay. preferably 3/10 tint (60%) so that it looks almost stock looking not the DARK smoke. which are like 6/10 (20%)
