stock speakers

i've been reading alot on these forums that the stock speakers arent good. But if your playing a cd the speakers sound quite good. enough to make the doors raddle pretty good. one more thing if you telll the dealership the door rattles too much will they "try" and fix it?

yeah they will try and fix it... just don't tell them its from the music, there is a tsb (tech service bulliten) about a certian plastic piece that rattles in the door, you may try and get that fixed, if when you turn it up and the rattles persist i would suggest some dynamat... even with the stock speakers the sound is much nicer and the volume can be turned up to a more audable level with out the distortion the rattles added.... i only used one layer of dynamat (actually it was tsunami brand butyl sound deader sheets but its all the same pretty much) and i have 225 watts going to each door and only have one rattle that is going to be fixed tomorrow... damn styrofoam spacer thingy rattlin like a lil b****... anyways.... use the sound deadener sheets and you will be happy
