Stiff Seats?

I was wondering for those people that got cloth instead of leather... are your seats comfortable? I'm sitting in the leather and it feels like i'm sitting on a wooden chair. Maybe theres a break-in period for leather? heh.

My cloth seats are comfortable the first time i sat in them they wernt but after a few days they are nice! At least i think..

i really like the 3 cloth seats. if the sliders were the same id get em for my 5

i sat in the leather seats and wasn't impressed enough to pay the extra price, the cloth seats are the s***... they are textured enough to somewhat hold you in place... i have the s sedan, not sure if the i model is the same way

I agree. I wasn't impressed with the leather in the 3. Maybe because it was still new and stiff from the factory, but comparing with the leather from other new vehicles, I didn't like the 3's.

Yeah they do loosen up and feel great after awhile. I like them easier to clean and make the car look better.

I did not like the cloth that came with my 3, So I took it to a local trim shop and had a custom Kat Skin leather interior done, and it is the s***.....much better than the factory leather.(bird)

The leather will soften up a bit, remember to condition it.

The Mazda3's seats are fairly firm compared to other cars that I've sat in. It's a good thing for some, and a bad thing for others. I kind of like it, but I don't know how it will feel on a long drive.

1. Was the work you had done on the car cheaper or more expensive had you chosen the leather factory option?
