Must say I much prefer the straight shifter to the previous gated version. I didn't realize there was a difference until after I purchased my 2014.5

I'm in the same boat. I didn't know there was a difference but lucked up with my 2014.5.

How do I know which one I have? Next week I will have it, but dont know if its .5 or 15. But the stick is straight

Look at the label inside the drivers door for the mfg date. If it's Nov 13 or after...it's a 2014.5 (though I'm unsure when the 2015's started production).
