sti wheels fit msp?

i like the sti gold wheels and was wondering if anyone knew if they fit the msp? thanks

I believe they're 17's, however, I doubt the bolt patterns are the same.

05 and up sti's switched to 5x114.3 bolt pattern. but they're 8 inches wide which would make for a tight fit.

IIRC they changed the wheel size but no the tire size so that the tires would slant inwards making a more... reactive? cant think of a way to describe it in words. instead of having your tires like / \ they made it go \ / so that there would be less fold in cornering. I SUCK AT EXPLAINING THINGS.

I have 18x7.5's with 50mm offset on my P5 which has less fender clearance than the sedans do in the rear. I have around .200" clearance to my fender and .200" clearance to my coilovers. With 53mm that will give too much tuck. Possibly with some very thin wheel spacers to pull you back out away from the strut. Try a search for "18x8" fitment I know there have been problems.

agreed, but these are only 17" wheels, not 18's.

Aren't the RX-8 rims 18x8 and +55 offset? I have seen those on a few P5's and only seen a couple that had rubbing issues in the rear.

camber, or toe?
neither. i told you i suck at explaining. i ment the way the tire is on the wheel, the way the sidewall curves. heres an exagerated jpeg to kinds show what i mean. in the STi's case the tire width was not changed but the wheel was so it would cause the tire to feel stiffer but not change the amount of grip. i think that explains it a bit better.

they will rub, i took the stock sti tires and put tem on my stock mp3 racing harts, i had to run spacers in the back just to run a larger tire, larger wheels and tires will rub
