The US version is plastic. The rumor is this shipment or the next will be the last from Japan (die cast). Check out NASIOC they have tons of pages on this subject if you want more info.

They just got them back in-stock. You can either have #7 (Petter Solberg) or #8 Tommy Makinen. Or you can buy both. This is probably one of the cheaper places you can get them ($55 shipped as opposed to outrageous prices on eBay).

You can get the japanese Takara version from -
www.hlj.com. Best price and best place to get it from!

OR

You can wait for the American version that is all plastic, not die-cast and pay about the same thing. It should be out at the end of December.

I just got mine last night!!!
I am sooooo happy!!!!
I had to wait forever!
I got number 7, not the number 8 one which is more rare!

Anyways!!! I am soooo happy.....I can also post up some pics of how different the die-cast one is compared to the plastic Hasbro one. Just let me know and I will post them!
