Hi guys ,
I already put new tires on it . Got it force balanced and aligned. But i am still having this vibration at those speeds... what can it possibly be?! a bent wheel?!
Thnx ,

If you say "I got it roadforce balanced" and then ask if it could be a bent wheel.... that statement and question contradict each other.
The Hunter Roadforce Balancer will run a report, I think in measurements of ounces as far as how far un-balanced a wheel is, or maybe it is grams, but in any event, the machine will give this number for each wheel, before and after it balances the wheel.
In addition to balancing the wheel, it puts pressure on the tire, mounted on the wheel and places the tire in the correct position on the wheel.
And in addition to all that, it also specifies which tire should go on which wheel.

If the wheel is "bent" and you have the printout from the balancer, and it is showing say somewhere between zero to 2 grams perhaps, than something is a muck.

If the tires are out of round, or defective, or just a single tire, the roadforce balancer will tell you that.

Now, with all this being said, when you only have steering wheel shake at interstate speeds, and you have an alignment printout showing all 4 wheels in the green, then that means it is the wheels.

Try a different shop and look with your own eyes to confirm that their machine says "Hunter Roadforce Balancer"

You can also go on Hunter's website and type in your location and it will tell you who in your area has a Roadforce Balancer, since all the machines are registered. (yes even outside the U.S.) Hope this helps.
