Hey Guys, want to put a differn't steering wheel in my 2003 MSP.

What hubs are available?

How do I get rid of the air bag light?

Best place to buy?

Thanks guys!

Not too sure, I've never looked into it. Check out Corksport or Protegegarage and such.

stock MSP wheel is a piece of s***. the thing falls apart in my hands.

i bought a sparco hub + NRG quick release and a personal wheel.

If you plan on doing a different wheel... dont cheep out on NRG items, get the Works Bell Quick Release Steering Wheel Hub, Its WELL worth it!

NRG isn't cheaping out, we run them on our track cars at work. buying carbon fiber instead of building your blown motor is cheaping out.

I have the Nrg quick release kit on my Mp5 along with the Sparco hub and Tenzo R Tracer steering wheel. The hub runs about $65 and the quick release was something around $150. If you search around you can get it cheaper I'm sure. If you have any questions on install send me a pm. I'm not on here much. Hope this helps you out.

NRG products are track-tested and are definitely not "cheaping out", but their hubs will definitely leave the airbag warning light flashing on your dash. AFAIK, Corksport is the only place to get a hub kit that kills that irritating airbag warning light. Call them up. They currently have a Works Bell hub on sale that will fit the MSP. Unfortunately for me, the hubs for the 2000 Proteges will take a month to arrive.

Guys, just because someone runs a part on a track car, doesn't mean its good. NRG is low quality stuff. I have a car in the shop right now with NRG stuff. Its flimsy and has a lot of slop. Its shiny though...

I'd stick with a Sparco/Momo/Works quick release and adapter.

For the airbag, you need to figure out the resistance needed and put the proper resistor into the wire harness.
