Sorry to cross post but the Wheel/Tire fourm hasn't been any help, and I need to know the answer fairly soon. So....

I have a set of 14in steelies from my probe, I know the bolt pattern is the same, but I was wonering if I needed to worry about the offset on the steelies or not. Thanks in advance for any help.:D

Anyone, please? I'll give you a cookie...I'll be your best friend....

just try it on... but i have HEARD of problems with a 14incher hitting the brake pads..... i went w/ 15 steelies for the winter

I have 14" wheels from a 626 3-4 years-old... No problems yet.
I THINK you should be ok, unless the Probe as an unusual offset...

Probe should be the same as the 626. I guess I'll just have to try and see...

What year 626 rims are you using? I'm looking to get some 14's, but haven't come across anyone with any experience with them on the P5. Everyone keeps telling me 15's, but I know 14's will fit the brakes etc. Do you have alloys or steelies?

Same questions about your Probe 14's. Did they fit etc.

Appreciate your feedback!

I'm thinking of putting 14's as well but not many people have told me their experiences with 14's. Any feedback here as well is appreciated.

I use 14 inch steel rims on my PR5 in the winter. Have 195/60/14 snow tires on them. No rubbing on calpiers. As long as the core of the rim goes over the calpier with out hitting, you should be fine. Mine are close, but they never touch the calpier.

I used them on my sedan before i for the PR5 in Jan

I've found that P17570R14 would fit perfectly. 14's are a lot less expensive as well. I also want a thinner tire to bite through snow and slush.
