:mad: I can' believe this s***....i lost to a gti after the flash and every once in a while there is a clunk....wtf man! I had this car beat by about a car length or more until this flash happened....There has to be an explanation to this! BTW is spools turbo back exhaust system any good? Any gains in WHP?

Gosh i hate losing....esp. to that piece! You would figure that bigger rims and a body kit would slow his car down more but noooooo. I mean, i really think that this flash made our cars slower. It has improved the drifting side of the car....but straight line acceleration seems the same with no hesitation.

My car didn't feel any faster after the flash either -- it just runs like it did before the flash when it was cold. It's not surprising to me that you lost to a GTI - they're quick in a straight line.

Be glad you live down south otherwise that "once and a while clunk" would be a CONSTANT clunk. I'm ready to take a maul to my rear suspension.

The flash was dynoed to show a good amount of gains throughout the power band. If you weren't hesitating before you may not feel any difference now.

If both cars are the same but you losted then either he got better at driving or you got worse

the new gti is the same 170hp but the 20th anniversay is 180 and that s*** is HOTTT... but way overpriced.

The flash changed the way the car performs through the gears. I know after I got mine back I was re-learning the way it ran.

ummmm I love my MSP and all, but stock for stock, GTi has faster 0-60 times. They are close times, so it all depends on the drivers now. I bet the first guy you raced didn't know how to drive, but the 2nd one knew his car. There are a lot of good VW drivers out there.

as far as the flash it does help me and my friend both have msp and before the flash i could pull on him slightly. i purposely let him get the flash first to see if it did help performance and now i cant even hang with him he keeps pulling on me... so there is a substantial performance gain both in hp and tq...
