I've had two Mazdas, never had a broken dip stick, how do you break it anyway? I've seen them broken on VWs b/c they use a platsic tube where it connects to the pan, but we have a metal tube. (I think)

I was chekcing my oil and was putting the stick back in and the handle broke. I was like wtf??? Did u have the FS-DE engines?

I've contacted like 4 junkyard with mazda part. And most of them said the dipsticks are broken.

so, I drove nearly 2 hours to Jenkinsberg, GA, to have them tell me they didn't have the engine. It was supposed to be there yesterday. They also said they couldn't load it into the back of my mom's Volvo XC90. I was sooo (pissed). I now have it arranged to be delivered to my mom's dry cleaners. I may be able to get it today, but more than likely it'll show up tomorrow.(flame)
