Starting to fall apart

I have a thread in the Protege5 section called "Starting to come together." It has a list of mods and kind of a blog of the build of my car. Today I'm starting this thread.

Today I seized a bearing on the crankshaft. That's what happens when you don't check your oil before doing autocross.

There are some other things, too. Curb rashed a rim and front bumper. Backed into a cement base of a light pole. Exhaust coming apart. I'll try to get pictures of everything.

So this is my blog of my car falling apart. Enjoy (2thumbs)

March ? - back into cement base of a light pole, scrape rear bumper
May 5 - scrape front bumper on curb at Varsity meet
July 10 - sling crankshaft bearing due to low oil levels during autocross
August 13 - destroy rim hitting a curb at 40+ mph in a left hand curve
September 13 - rear ended on I75. Hatch and frame damage

Those are matt's (I_boost) seats luke is just borrowing them for the time being before matt sells them ask matt how much he wants for them

and BTW luke if u guys need any help with the engine or tools or anything else let me know

Damn Luke....sorry to hear it. There probably isn't much damage to the crank or rod so just tossing in some new bearings will probably do the trick. Once you get the motor out of the car the rebuild is very simple. I have the FS-DE supplemental service manual for the motor so let me know when you need rebuild specs for the bottom end.

ah its nothin!! ive gone thru twice as much with my pile and its things still runnin. its just a car, s*** happens. maybe you'll learn alot from the rebuild

KCB HIW will be helping me rebuild the lower end. But won't be able to get to it for about 3 weeks. So for the time, i'm driving a '02 Pontiac Firebird (V6, auto).

would I qualify for the "zoom zoom boom" club? (rofl)

That'll help you get done faster for sure! j/k, anyways, are you rebuilding with stock parts or any special plans for it?

BTW, if you need any help let me know. I've never done anything that major as a rebuild, but I figure I could help do something if you need it.
