Is the standard radio a good one? I think I will have headroom problems with the sunroof/Bose accessorie pack.

since its only 4 speakers, i cant imagine they will sound like in an suv. especially being stock compenents vs a name brand w/a decent amp. 4 speaks in a small car is almost ok, but i doubt ull get what u want outta 4 in the 7

i know my crv has 1 in each door and a poor excuse for tweeters in the dash. If you are on the highway, there just isnt enough power to anything to get good sound to compensate for road noise.

I didn't go for the Bose (though I have Bose products at home) and so far I've been fine with the radio. This car rides so much smoother than my last that I haven't noticed that the stock radio has had trouble competing with the road noise. But it may just be my standards and expectations are low.

Maybe the radio wouldn't qualify as good, but it's certainly decent and has been good enough for my purposes. I figure as long as it is loud enough to cover the sound of my singing along, I'm fine.

I was driving around a bit last night and while station surfing, stopped on the classical station which was playing an opera. It sounded so beautiful I was hooked. This confirmed for me that the radio is just fine.

The sound is good from 10% to 65% of the volume, if you go louder the radio will reduce bass and treble, maybe is a feature to protect the speaker don't know. But if you whant to pump the volume it will go louder but treble goes down.

I have the standard audio in my CX 7 and it sounds great for a base system.

I didn’t think I was going to like it coming from my Volvo. I had the premium Dynaudio system in my Volvo.

my standard radio pisses me off. i blew a speaker, it cannot be hacked, and there is no input for a usb drive.
