Stagg Struts

How are those Tokico springs? Conservative or aggressive drop?

I am no pro on here by any means. I come here for info if I have a problem. These are a great daily driver strut if you ask me. They have a good dampening to them and I drive on some pretty rough West Virgina roads. As for the cornering on them I would say they are decent BUT could be alot better. There is a little to much roll in them for when I take a turn. When I replaced my stuts about 4 months ago I did the whole suspension system. Not trying to plug but if you are intrested I have a set of Vogtland lowering springs that I did not use when I got the stag struts. You could have them for 120 shipped. Hope this might help you a little.

Iirc 1.5" last I looked. If they don't handle we'll enough you can always stiffin the struts up. Either way the struts alone usually run 600+ and are the best available for the protege. If you want better go with coilovers which start at $1,000 up to 2500

Well, I just got off the phone with the guys at BelShore Inc. I asked him about the drop and he was saying for the 99-'03 proteges anywhere from 1.25 - 1.75. Being my protege has a big ass and some subs in the trunk, I hope it will get low. He also even said I was the last person to get in on this deal and was just about to pull the deal off the internet. They may have the ability to build some more, after I said there are some threads up on Mazdas247 about this. So we shall see my set up will be shipping today.

yeah - I read that price and wondered "Is that right?! That price is lower than the freaking HP set they have.......GDI.......Why couldn't I have saved 400 smackers?"

Let me know how they ride - because for that price......they're well worth it!!!!!
