Source for quality full CX-5 front strut assembly at reasonable price?

The 2nd gen rides softer than 1st. I've had both.
I could also be confusing the wheel sizes for suspension tightness between my 1st and 2nd gen. My ‘13 had 17” wheels and my ‘23 has 19” wheels. My ‘23 has a stiffer ride all around vs my old ‘13 (I think that feeling folks would describe as “sporty”). My ‘23 and my mother in laws ‘18 (also 19” wheels) are somewhat jarring over bumps and such, but again I’ve never driven a 1st gen on 19” wheels.

I had a 2014 with 17" and a 2017 and 2020 with 17". The 1st gen was clearly a tighter handling car. They softened up the 2nd gen just a bit for ride compliance and "premium" feel.

Not CX-5 related but show why I was happy to find that Bilstein makes struts for the CX-5. Back in 1994 my sheriff attended a convention in Vegas. Bilstein had a driving course with matching Caprice 9C1 patrol cars with the LS engines. One had factory shocks and the other had Bilsteins. They wanted the sheriff's to see how much faster the Bilsteins allowed them to drive the course. When he returned to Montgomery, I was sitting in the fleet manager's office when the sheriff enter and and "Morning everyone, Bill get me a cost to outfit every car with Bilstein shocks, get us a good price and let me know and I'll see about pulling pistol permit money to buy them, get me some numbers by lunch, bye".
