SSBS Acting Up

I have driven the 2014 Mazda6 GT about 4K miles and the SCBS (Smart City Brake Support) has kicked in 3 times for no reason (the 3rd time yesterday). When you don't expect it, it forces your body forward pretty hard. All 3 times I was going 8 MPH or less! Anybody ever hear of this issue?

I have SSBS on my touring w/Tech, but never even kicked in even though I got close to so many cars in heavy traffic. I don't know why. Just take it to the service, they might fix it for you under warranty.
