SSAFC+Windows 8??

Anybody out there using a Windows 8 operating system with the SSAFC? I have the R4 program and it runs like it should on the computer, but I cant get any cables that worked on my old laptop, to work on this one. It wont download the correct drivers for them to operate, and I just constantly get "Selected Comport could not be opened" on all 8 com ports. Ive tuned my car quite a bit with my last laptop so I know its not an issue with the SSAFC itself. Any insight would be AWESOME.

It works on my laptop with windows 8 just fine. I ran the program as admin and used compatibility mode.

Might be drivers compatibility problems with Win8. I have a IOGear serial to USB cable that crashes everytime with win8 but works fine in win7.

Yea, the actual program was working fine, but the drivers for the cable I had never worked. I had 2 separate cables and both had the same error codes when I tried to use them. I returned the laptop because I got tired of it. I probably could have tried a few different cables and get them to work, but it wasnt worth my time
