SSAFC Warm start issue

So I've been having this problem since i've installed my SSAFC. Car starts fine on cold starts and when it's shut off for about an hour I can go back and start the car up just fine. But anything after that (2-3 hours after when the car is still kind of warm, but not completely warmed up) the rpm's will drop to 200-300 for a few seconds then rev up to 2500 and come back down to normal idle ~700. I've checked 4 times to see if everything is wired up correctly and there doesnt seem to be any issues.

I've cleaned my EGR, IAC, Throttle body, and adjusted the tb screw. The car runs/starts fine regardless of engine temp when the SSAFC is uninstalled so i'm pretty sure it has something to do with the afc.

I'm currently running an unmodified supermapstock.

Does anyone know howl I can fix this issue?

Have you tried reloading the superstock map to make sure you don't have an altered one?

yes, i've tried reloading the superstock map several times, i've done 2 ecu resets and i've also tried loading a few different maps and i still get the same problem.

If you've gone that far, it seems as though the unlikely may have occurred and the AFC has failed. Have you looked at recordings to see if anything is off, like, say your vacuum? Indicating a failed MAP sensor in the unit.

Any DTCs set?

as in diagnostic trouble codes? i havent done a scan since the CEL is off. My vac is at a solid 24hg and idle is ~730rpm. I talked to simon since he is the only other person i've read that has had the same problem and he said he never figured out what was wrong lol.

definitely a possibility that the unit iself is bad. I havent looked at any of the recordings yet so i'll take a look tomorrow if i have time

The overpressure only changes when the AFC starts to create a fake (wig-wog O2 signal to the ecu) the rest of the maps will be active ALL THE TIME.

I had this confusion at one point, just wanted to make sure it was cleared up.

And you issue is weird, since the AFC should have little to no impact on "heat" of the engine.... :/ It only cares about modifying 3 things: MAF voltage signal, O2 signal, and Crank signal retard....

Have you checked your resistance on your coolant temp probe?
