I know this is like beating a dead horse...and yes I have used the search button....but is the heat soak reallllllly significant in our engine bays at stops/stoplights when you have an SRI??? I know there is gonan be hot air but...how significant?? I am interested in getting the weapon R SW SRI and just wanted ppl with other SRIs to anwers this.

thanks.

yes there is more heat taken into the engine at a stop light or when you are idling but as soon as you are moving again it drops dramaticly i did a temp query on my sri while driving in the summer and while driving my simota sri was almost the same as ambiant and was the same precent away from ambiant as a cai. so does it really matter that you are sucking hot air into your car at a stop light??/ probably not

get the AEm short ram its only 185 and it runs all the way down behind the front valance. Trust me its worth it and its not a short pipe, its almost a cold air intake. I was amazed to see how long the tubes were. Modacar.com is where i got mine along with the B&M STS and he only charged me 100 for the shifter.

The P5 intake system would be different than our Mazda3 system...
