Squeaky Clutch

First of all, we don't have a cable clutch, so we don't have a clutch cable.

2nd of all, are you talking about a single "squeak" as you push the pedal, or are you saying as you keep your foot pressed down on the pedal, it squeaks continuously? If it's the former, I wouldn't even worry about it. Mine had a really small squeak (wouldn't hear it if you weren't listening for it) as I pressed the pedal. It was probably the hinge on the pedal. If it's the latter, then it's probably the throwout bearing, which involves removing the transmission, and is pretty important as far as the clutch operation goes... you'd def want to get that replaced if that's what's going on.

It's a single squeak. The noise is only present when I push down on the clutch, like a squeaky hinge. Holding the clutch, there is no squeak.

and it's loud enough to be embarrassing? I mean, I guess it may be the slave cylinder (if that's where the noise is coming from).

I noticed an hour after spraying that clutch bracket, my clutch is a lot smoother to push in. However, the squeak is still there lol.

OR is it the seat back squeaking? When i shifted my hips to shift i would make the seat squeak as well - spray lithium grease on the seat hinge (to lean front/back).

i had a squeaky clutch that felt like metal parts were grinding....it only happened when the pedel was being depressed or let out....after spraying the pedal assembly w/ lithium grease, the pedal is smooth most of the time but not always.

sometimes the grinding feel comes back for awhile. anyone have any suggestions. i've greased the pedal assembly twice now

i got it today when i was in reverse, as i was letting the clutch out. sounded like a squeaky belt. it happened when the clutch made contact

so i listened to the squeak more carefully...it's from the engine bay area and it's loud...

so the slave cylinder can be lubed?
