Sputtering

I just put a corksport power series on my msp tonight. I immediately noticed it seemed bogged down and it sputtered a ton while running through the rpms. It feels like it's running insanely rich. What would fix this? Do I need an afc?

Another thing is that the exhaust didn't have a spot for the o2 sensor so I unplugged it. It hasn't thrown a CEL yet. I don't know if that might contribute to the sputtering or not.

My other mods are corksport silicone intercooler hoses, and an injen cai running as an Sri.

The cars run rich either way but you definitely need to install the O2, there should be a spot for it. Are you certain there isn't a bung for the secondary O2?

There isn't a spot. It's the 2.4 inch one made for the reguLar protgs also.

Update: this morning on my way to work it basically stalled out and was running like s*** has to park it and get a ride.

Then take it to a shop and have one installed. If you have the stock downpipe there is a bung in the J pipe but the sensor must be behind the cat. converter if you have one. You will also need a spacer for the O2 sensor, most people do the 'non-fouler' trick using spark plug non-foulers.
