I just got a mp3 and want to do some suspension work and am wondering if the stock tokiko shocks will be ok with new springs because im looking for a drop but dont have much money?

would springs that fit the mazdaspeed protege fit an mp3?

Do mp3's come with stock amp? if so were is it located?

First the Speed springs are the same as the MP3 . The stock shocks will work with drop springs . Sprting choices are Eibach ,Tein , JIC , B&G.there are others ,use the srearch and have fun

just know though that some people who went really low with ground control coilovers or skunk2 coils blew thier struts... I used to have GC's (see teh lowness in my sig) and I never blew mine, though I now have Tein SS coilovers.

also, the "amp" is just the powered sub behind the rear seats. if you dont have one then someone removed it... I still have my stock one at my house (I replaced it with somthing a little better)
