Springs on the brain

This has probably been answered on another thread.

What are some opinions on the best springs to use on P5's

No track racing but I want something good quality that handles good.

Eibach
H & R
Racing Beat.....etc....etc

I have used H&R on both my old cars, I really liked the performance of it cornering and ride handling. I had on a 1998 Honda Accord, and a 1998 Mecedes C43. I would go with H&R.

If you want adjustable, I dont know how the ground controls are I'm getting Skunk2 for my P5's arriving this Wed. I will keep you updated on how it is. :)

MY COILOVERS HAS BEEN SHIPPED TO ME, WILL PUT THEM ON SOMETIME THIS WEEK, I'LL KEEP YOU INFORMED.:)

skunk2 lowered p5

check my picture site on yahoo. skunk2 lowered p5. hope this helps. by the way it handles great!

eibach pro kit...had them on the accord...best springs as far as i am concerned...but the only thing is you might have to replace the struts too...which means more money

Hey your car looks pretty phat. BTW, where did you get your new E-break handle? And your shifter handle? Dose the new shifter handle have a O/D off button? :)

Where did u get that custom steering wheel?

I really like the interior of the japanese familia s-wagon with the silver finish, it will look very nice... tell me where you got them from, thnx
;)

Where do I find pics? I typed skunk2 lowered p5 in my yahoo search engine and nothin came up
If you click on the small "www" button on the bottom of his post it will take you to his webpage, I guess you have to have a yahoo pasword to see them...no biggie. He has some coo pics.

THANKS! I am satisfied myself with the way it looks. the shifter is made by RAZO it comes with O/D switch its a pain to install but I managed it. As for my steering wheel I had it custom leather dyed to match the Familia S-wagon style.

Eibach Pro Kit!

That's what I have and had no problems. The ride quality improves unlike other aftermarket springs that become to bouncy.

I definately recommend them!:D

I just installed the Eibach Pro-Kit

I am very pleased-- less body roll, crisp turn-in!

they are linear in the front, progressive in the rear.

Ok so these are all the lowering options I can find

Springs:
Eibach Pro-line kit F1.4' R1.3'
H&R F1.3' R1.3'
Swift(any know this company?) F2.0' R2.0'

Coil-overs:
Ground Control F0-4' R0-4'
Skunk2 F0-3' R0-3'

I think I want more then the 1.4' drop, ILMP5 how much did you make the Skunk2 coil overs drop your ride? Also were did you order them from and how much were they? I found them on www.nopionline.com for $349.56.

xoom xoom...there are also Mazdaspeed coilovers that are made especially for the P5...go to corksport.com to find out more...i think they were around $179ea.
