Springs for the 2010 speed 3?

Looks nice man. Youre making me wanna do the windshield now, which Ive been putting off. I will be doing a matte black visor strip soon.

I ended up having 5% tint installed above the AS-1 line, it turned out really nice and helps me a lot since I'm sensitive to light.

Springs hit this week, awaiting install:

Darkspeed, did you get yours on?

Btw I'm glad I'm not the only person with the TWM SSP problem. That shifter is highly dangerous. I was the first shipped/installed and I was on them hard, they claimed it was an "installer error". You experienced the same exact problem as did multitudes of others.

My springs have not arrived yet, nor been shipped from tire rack. 2 people confirmed with me H&R will NOT drop ship to me thru tire rack.... My new wheels will arrive tuesday and I cant put em on til the springs show up.. ughhhhh

TWM is full of s*** on here with excuses. Of course it wasnt installer error.. we all have the problem and they tried to cover it up til it became widespread. I dont care what they or anyone else says to defend them. THe same MANUAL THEY INCLUDE SHOWS THE PARTS HITTING IN THE PIC!

TR offered to drop-ship for me from H&R. Read your PMs I told you to hit up MJMAutoHaus.com. Call them up, ask for Mark. He drop shipped direct from H&R, it was cheaper and got them in 3 days. H&R has plenty of stock right now.

I was the first to receive/install the SSP and I called them that night that I had to push my ******* car back to work to remove their shift-killer. They told me to send it back and not to post anything on the forums and they'd make sure I was taken care of.

Seems like they tripped over their own dicks.

TWM told you not to post the short shifter flaw in the forums??? Wow, that doesnt surprise me and fits right in with my belief about them trying to cover this up by initially blaming the first complaints on "installer error". Hope nobody sees this post, wouldnt want people to point out a MANUFACTURERS DESIGN FLAW THAT HAS DAMAGED PEOPLES OEM CAR PARTS AND HAVE OFFERED NO COMPENSATION TO THOSE DAMAGES!

PS: DONT look at the installation manual on one of the final steps that SHOWS THE FLAW and the 2 parts hitting. Someone hacked into their image database late night and photoshopped it without them noticing and they got printed and sent out. The original photo did not have such a flaw so openly visible! (notcool)

Yes, John and Patrick both told me, "let us fix it before you post on the forums, we are a nice company and want to make our customers happy".

3 weeks for a fix? This s*** should have been right the first time.

If they can't send me a product that works, I'll ask for a refund or dispute the charge. I'm running the J-Speed SSP right now and it performs flawlessly. About 30-35% reduction in throw, well made, and affordable. I don't like the fact it only has two mount points (TWM sold me on the four point connect for "safety") but considering TWM's design is uber-dangerous, this will suffice for now.

I fear for the release of their full shift assembly replacement.

3 weeks is indeed a long wait. It will be the last item I ever get from them thats all I can say. I really dont know why those who had damage done to their OEM parts havent gone after them for money to repair/replace the parts. Im so glad I noticed mine hitting when I installed it before I had any damage done from driving it. They posted the same bulls*** excuse in the thread I posted about them. Pathetic.

So anyways.... on a more positive note... GET THOSE BAD BOYS INSTALLED! THIS ENTIRE FORUM IS AWAITING TO SEE THE H&RS INSTALLED! WOOOOOOOT WOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!! (mj)

We finished dropping the car tonight. It's still settling (will take a few days) but it's quite nice.

The light in my garage is horrible so the pictures are faded. I'll take better ones tomorrow morning and post up, especially up close.

I was never a fan of the drag wheels until I saw these. Very tasteful, indeed. I'll snap better pictures in the morning when the fluorescent lights aren't on. Have to wash/detail/wax the car in the morning for a big show in Houston. I love the drop so far and it hasn't even settled.

Some notes on the ride:

Way stiffer than stock, you feel more bumps. Very little if any bounce/float, body roll has minimized, turns are nice and flat so far. Granted I'm on stock dampeners and will probably stay on them till they blow (if and when that happens).

I'm really glad I waited on the gen2 springs. They rock.

Thanks for your comments. Looks like you and I are on the road to having total murdered gen2s. (Although I swapped my outside tails for J-spec due to tickets).

Thanks for the info. I cant wait to get them next week. Should be a fun project with NO POWER TOOLS. Hehehe.... done it many times with previous cars. I enjoy spending a day doing it by hand... it keeps the mind occupied with something different that everyday bull.

You don't need power tools. The only time we touched air tools was to compress the coils with a spring tool.

I'm with you on the projects, that's why I continue to **** with this car. It keeps my mind off of s*** and helps me de-stress. Well in theory.

I'm hoping to do my headlights sometime soon, haven't been able to devote a weekend to it. My time lately has been work and cursing my tails!

More pics. A little bit better, the weather outside is bad so I can't get any decent pics. Note, not fully settled.

Looks f0kkin sw33t! Do you have any before pics? Also what size wheels and offset are those?

My before pics are all over the place. Look at your tail tint thread.

The wheels are Konig Runaways 18"x8" +48

A couple more pics after a quick wax. This iPhone takes the blurriest pictures.
