SO i was wondering and i have not found my answer here on the forums. regarding the springs, does the car need to be aligned after you put them on, and does the car have enough play without needing to buy camber adjusters.

And of course impressions on which way should i go COBB or Eibach.

Thanks again.

yes you should always get an alignment after lowering any vehicle....i would wait until the springs settle, then get the alignment. not sure about the camber plates...and i'm not dropped yet so i can give any impressions

im' dropped on cobb springs, and the drop looks pretty good, not too low... ride is pretty much the same as stock. the guy who installed my springs recommended that i get an alignment as soon as the springs settle.. no camber adjustment needed. and so far no problems yet. **knock on wood

I have the Eibachs and they're great. The drop is definitely noticable and the handling is much improved. Wait a few days and 100 miles or so for the springs to settle before getting the alignment. There was a strange noise when I made hard left turns after I installed them caused by the toe on the left side being way out of spec. The alignment fixed that and now I don't have the noise and I don't have to worry about wearing out my tires prematurely - well, besides from my normal spirited driving.
The drop isn't enough to require camber plates. I think anything over 1" would probably require them but up to 1", you should be ok.

I was never able to identify the problem for sure before I got my alignment but the toe on the left side was way out of spec so I suspect that was the cause because after the alignment the noise went away. The toe being out of whack could have caused rubbing which is kind of what it sounded like. I haven't had a chance to see if there are any marks on the inside of the wheel well yet. I wanted to mention the noise to illustrate that getting an alignment is definitely a good idea.

so overall consensus is that getting an alignment would be best to do. Good stuff. I am dropping next weekend and will get an alignment after about a week or so just to make sure its settled.

I have the Eibach's on mine, its only a .7" rear .8" front drop so the struts handle it fine. I had a 4 wheel alignment done within a week of putting the springs on and the rear didnt require any adjustments and the fronts the toe needed to be adjusted very slightly, talking tenths of a degree. Gives me piece of mind but $50 could have been spent better.

After any modification to the suspension you should ALWAYS get an allignment done.

Stocks will be able to handle any drop, but they will wear out much more easily. I'd suggest upgrading your shocks be the next thing on your to-do list.

well if u want to see the cobb just look at my pic on my sig i have my on cobb springs
