Spotted

they are getting pretty common around here. I saw two on the freeway within a minute this morning.

Spent a month in Canada, Flatlands of Alberta, through the Rockies over the Columbia Parkway, down to Osooyus via Sicamous, onto Vancouver Island with a week in Victoria and a few days in Parksville going on up to Campbell River.

In all that travelling saw no more than 10 different CX-5's There again you could drive miles and not see any cars at all on the mainland. Loads of Rav-4's, Acuras etc.

However, on the apron at Vancouver Airport, the security services use white CX-5's

I still like the rarity factor, but would be nice to see a few more even if to reassure us that Mazda are profitable.

Here in Norway the cx5 is the second most selling car in all classes. only Beeton by 'golf. its so popular that i ordered mine in January and still wait for delivery. So here you can spot them in all colors and styles all the time :))

I know what you mean I like the rarity factor but hope Mazda get into profit, they deserve to with all the work that has gone into "skyactive" and the wonderful CX-5.

You should have come to Quebec if you wanted to be reassured. Mazda's biggest dealer (worldwide) is here, and it shows. There are just as many CX-5s as late-model RAV4s or CR-Vs here.

Have a look at that giant dealer :

They have a beauty salon, an ice cream franchise and a restaurant franchise inside the service dept. Their play area for kids is about the size of my house.

Saw a silver CX-5 today on 118 in Somers, NY. My first spotting!! Where we live the nearest Mazda dealer is 22 miles south or 40 miles north.. Sigh ... Lots of Honda/Toyota/ Subaru / VW etc dealers nearby but Mazdas are a rare bird here

Had a Black one next to me on the 440 in Staten Island near the Victory Blvd exit going east. Had PA plates.

I see one or two CX-5's now, every day.
I did, however, see a Soul Red Mazda 6 yesterday.

Those are still on the rare side, currently.

BC.

Saw 4 in 2 days- June 22nd- Sky Blue on the 101 northbound near the 23 interchange (Ventura County, CA), Black in Ventura parked near the Ventura Keys on Sunday 6/23; Zeal Red on the 101 through Thousand Oaks; Metro Gray at a local supermarket. Becoming more common here in Ventura County.

There's a decent amount in South Florida now. Unless I see a modified one I won't even post about it. The majority of the drivers probably aren't like us and couldn't care less if the see another CX-5 lol. I have caught a couple of guys in CX-7's checking out my car though. One even followed me into a parking lot and chatted to me a bit about the wheels and Mazda stuff.

I see them occasionally, maybe one every other day on I-83, and I did encounter a couple on the PA Turnpike going to Michigan. I have to say though, there are a ridiculous number of Escapes out there; if I go 10 minutes without seeing the latest model, it's an off day.

black or dark blue cx-5 at Swansea county hall CV13 FWN today, off to alton towers tomorrow, hope they haven't got loose gravel on the road up there they always seem to be resurfacing :(

I have been spotting more and more now! In August it will be a year since I own one.
Couple weeks ago I parked at the mall next to a young woman with a baby, in the same car as mine, even the same color. I got out of the car and said to her "nice car!" She didn't realize I had the same and said "thanks! My husband picked it out for me". It was cute.

But every time I spot the car, I try to see who's driving it, and wonder if they are on this forum! ;)
