News Flash! This just in, if you take care of the leather it will be fine. Use a sun visor when you park out in the sun for long periods of time. Help maintain it with leather conditioner, etc. If you can't do this then yeah a GT probably isn't for you. The partial leather seats look in the GT look a hell of a lot better than the sport IMO as well. You get what you pay for or in the sports case what you didn’t pay for, that is all.
Good idea. We could segregate forums/bathrooms/water fountains for GTs and Sports.
Did all that with the cheap leather on my RSX Type S and it still cracked, and it will happen on MS3 seat as well. Its just the quality of the leather.
I've had mine for 25k so far and it's shown no signs whatsoever of diminished quality.
your lucky Ive seen dealer demo cars with less than 1,000 miles that were wrinkled, and cracking from people getting in,and out of the car

Back OT: I read this whole thread....sigh... and in my humble opinion I didn't feel the GT was worth the extra bucks. It added very little to the total package.
Now...that said, if I had different interests / priorities, I could have felt the exact opposite! There really is no right / wrong or better / worse version of the MS3. The sport and GT are so very close, that it all comes down to personal preference.

Why would there be piss on your seats...? Sounds like a personal issue you should have looked at...

Wow how the hell this thread becomes like this! Well if its around 25k to 26k, hell I'll just use that money for the WRX 09. Some people got their WRX 09 26k OTD. Its freaking way better to use that money for AWD and this cars beats our MS3 on almost all the new test numbers in track....

I envisioned it more akin to New Detroit, with us GT owners being senior executives atop our ivory tower at OCP, and you Sport owners slumming it below laughing drunkedly at "I'll buy that for a dollar!"
