Sport-20 Pic Thread

Yeah, that's what I'd recommend doing if you don't want to 1) hack the bezel to fit the 99/00 controls or 2) splice into the harnesses to make the 01-03 controls work with the 99/00 harness.

Does anyone have a graphic file of the "Sport 20" side decal?

I'm considering having a set printed in blue for the P5, but the vinyl guy needs the image. The correct size would be nice, too.

BTW, I'm up for a Sport20 meet any day. I'd drive coast to coast if I had to, but since I live in TX(which is in the middle) that makes it so much better for me because I can make it no matter where it's held.
(breakn)

I'm living in Canada (quebec) east coast.

Ready for the next summer !

Nice interior swap P2K. I think you just sold me on buying these MSP seats for sale up here in Canada, and get rid of my crappy plain grey seats.

Thanks 99pro

It's simple to just keep the same bezel and manual HVAC when I put in the new dash but I want auto a/c. No real reason for it, I just want it. I still have the 1.6 in but should have the KLZE in by December. Two-Fast Performance based in Montreal is doing the swap. I want to try to do the a/c before the swap but I don't know if I should wait until after the swap. We'll see.

Thanks for the info NegatiZE.

(wow) I didn't know that engine made 200WHP, i thought it was like 160 @ the flywheel.

how much is the swap going to be, if you don't mind me asking?

I know this is going to sound a bit "Noobish" but can someone give me the rundown on the Sport20? How is it different from the regular protg? (Dx, Lx, Es, Mp3, MSP) When and where was the model offered?

sport20 was never offered in the us - the special-est feature was the FS-ZE engine with about 165-170hp

Yes, but if people convert to a sport20 here (cosmetically speaking), it is only the 99-00 style. Otherwise, it would be a MP3/MSP-ish conversion.

I used one of those small metal clips that have a threaded hole thru the middle. It kinda snaps in place and then you can bolt the plate on.
