I had a 98 Neon R/T. I ran 15.1 at the track with it. The mods I had were: Intake, header, exhaust, UDP, I did a PP on my intake manifold, and a modified computer. I had NITTO drag radials amd ran that time after I smoked the tires through first and through second. They caught in third......I can't launch for crap.

Unless modded 5.0L stangs weren't that fast. The ones from 98 were easy as hell to beat.

Is everyone still making fun of this dude?...he is an idiot...thats it...Every 9 out of 10 kids that turn 16 stay idiots in this way for the rest of their lives, even when they do get into money...its unavoidable...

I say forgive him...the Neon guy is safely beyond repair, or ever becoming a cool person for that matter (Josie the 5.0 liter eater?)...The Saturn guy sucks too, and he is an ignorant asshole...which overall makes him funny...People like him make smarter people feel even smarter than before, which is needed and good...

But I salute him...What I suggest is forgive him, and all take the "The typical automotive half-wit picture"...what is that you ask?...the Neon guy took it, and about half of your graduating class did this as a senior photo...You simply get a camera, and get some dork to hold it for you...and you lean in front or beside your car...You have to crouch, or it won't look right...and you need to make an ugly grimmace...This is crucial, because you need to appear tough in order for your bad car to appear tough as well...Some guys literally frown...others just give a straight cut smirk of what a polic officer would do...

So each of us do that...I will do mine in the morning...

5.0L in 98? 96 and up were the 4.6L. Pretty pathetic motor at that time.
