Spool Turbo bugs? (56K beware)

Did anybody install a gasket betweenthe downpipe and the turbine exhaust flange ? Old rule metal to metal needs gasket or (leaks) !!

I have no gasket...and no problems with that as of yet.

if they are machined right and at those temps you should be fine with no gasket. as a matter of fact they blow out very often and even turbonetics recommends NOT TO INSTALL gasket there.

Thanks for the note. I was going to make one in bronze or copper. I just cant think in having that burning oil smell or exhaust gases into my car or even in the engine bay.
