spin-on oil filter conversion for MS3?

Dale made a reference to cold starts. That sounded like a viscosity reference.

If the filter bottlenecks, the bypass will kick in. For a filter to lower the pressure, it would somehow have to open up. To raise the pressure, something would have to constrict the flow.

I did "mis-speak" on the volume/pressure relationship: I know several people who use the pressure indicator to determine when it needs oil. For that to be useful, though, the volume has to be down too much to be safe.

I've got like 5 more OEM filters for the cartridge loader in storage. I guess I'll run those out before I go for the spin on conversion.

i dont know to many speed owners with an oil pressure gauge, i heard it was a pain to get it all set up.

to bad you cant monitor it with the d hawk.
