What's up everyone, just registered to the site, been wanting to do this for a while now. I'm a very fortunate 20 year old who's old man picked up a speed6 about a year ago. It's 1 year into it's warranty, and I haven't touched a single thing on the car. I want to do a few mods on the car, just to get rid of that stock image because it seems too dull I think. What are some ideas on what I could do to the car? I've noticed the tires really suck because they wear out easily, drove about 20k km, and they've completely worn out almost, I don't like the stock rims at all, nor the clutch. Bose system is great, but I want a little more volume. Basically, I need some good ideas on what to look into, and where. Also, I'd love to blurr the image of the car, in other words get rid of the mazda signs, especially the front grill, and if possible replace the mazdaspeed6 sign with an MPS in the back. Any ideas please????

Welcome aboard.

Of the many things you ask most all have been talked about quite a few times.

Please do a SEARCH...its a wonderful thing.

Search around and most of your questions will be answered.. As for the tires they only have a 140 treadwear rating. Thats extremely low. Think supercar tire territory low. Yet they are a great gripping tire for the "spirited" drives in warm weather...
Look in the how to section for a mod to the BOSE subwoofer that will get you a bit more bump......
Wheels are up to you as to what you do...Tirerack has a large variety for the Speed6...
Ebay will get you a badgeless front grill... Rear MazdaSpee6 emblem is a stickon only job, easy to remove. The rear Flying M emblem has 2 pins as well as double sided tape so its harder to eliminate...MPS emblem can also be purchased on ebay....
Good luck with the car and welcome...

Thanks a lot, trust me when I say, I've read around a lot before i actually just joined the forums. I'm just not good with the whole getting things online, I don't know what's quality good and what isn't, that's my only problem I think, if I can get direct links to what I'm asking for I'd really appreciated that. It'd help me out a lot. Once again, thanks a lot and I'm glad to be aboard.

Welcome Aboard. So is it your car now or your "Old Man's"? My dad wouldn't let me drive his '74 Ford Pickup and my first car was an '80 VW Scirocco that I paid for myself.

Must be Phukin nice!

Welcome aboard. Do as much searching as you can. Most of the time questions have been asked, but don't be scared to ask questions. We help when we can.

well the car payments are taken care of by the old man, he purchased the car for me though lol
