Speed6 spoiler available on regular 6's?

It seems like lately I keep seeing a lot of "Speed 6's", only to realize up close that it's a regular 6, with a MS6 spoiler. This must be some kind of 07/08 option on the regular 6. Anyone else notice this? Personally it kind of pisses me off, makes our cars less distinguished.

meh...who cares. Just my humble opinion. Besides it is so easy to tell it's a Speed model from the front and rear bumpers and the hood.

Umm...that lip spoiler has been offered on 6's since the car launched back in '03.

Should owners of regular 6's with lip spoilers be pissed off because the MS6 copied their spoiler? (uhm)

I never saw it before until recently, and I don't see it listed as an option on the Mazda website, so I thought it was odd.

I just think that our cars are hard enough to distinguish from regular 6's to people who aren't aware of them. And I for one don't go for the sleeper look.

I personally love the sleeper look. I even removed "Mazdaspeed 6" from the back of my car. It's still pretty easy to distinguish between the regular 6 and speed version, but yeah, I also won't put new rims on my car because I want people to think it's as stock as possible. I understand not everyone feels the same though.

Isn't owning a Speed 6 about owning a sleeper? I mean, you could mod it out with extravagant bodykits and multilevel wings, but IMO that's like putting RuPaul's makeup on Audrey Hepburn... you could do it, it's probably going to still look pretty good - but it's still a travesty!

I'm with AtenzaNY62 and Calgary MS6 on this...

But as noted above - everyone has their own sense of aesthetics (sp?) - and it's all good.
