Just because I was busy working on your damn part last night when you snagged the MSP door trim.
I am usually sitting on here watching for stuff....But no....the one time the item I need comes up for sale..I miss it...and the worst part is that the guy who bought it is who I was working for.
How bad is that....LOL!

we rent a space when we need to do work. our main income was always internet sales, so there was no need to shell out thousands for a shop month to month when you were only working on so many cars at a time.

just got off the phone with ken....I GET THE CAR TOMORROW!(rockon)
Hesitation issue resolved, exhaust done which he said sounded a lil' louder than my old corksport/header combo i had which is not good(previous noise complaint letter from neighbors(notcool)) but i can fix that by retarding my right foot in the mornings and evenings.
I leave to pick the car up right at 3:30pm tomorrow so wish me luck! pics, videos and my thoughts to come! Otherwise im not gonna be on in a while cause im gonna be too busy (drive2)!!!!

car actually sounds great. i was very happy with how it all turned out. the car runs rich and boosts 10psi, two things that will be addressed in the tuning process. mpnick advised not to full throttle the turbo for at least 500 miles, so once the car gets to that point more adjustments will be made.

Honestly, going turbo seems like a gigantic pain in the butt. You had a shop do it, and it still doesn't run properly? Sorry, but if I blow that kind of cash and have someone else do the install, that thing better be perfect upon delivery. I can understand if you HAD to have your car back, but like I said, it seems like a huge hassle.

where did he say the car didn't run properly once we delivered it back to him? i kept the car an extra week to better perfect things. it can't be tuned yet because the turbo cannot be put under full throttle according to the person who built the turbo. you cannot tune an EMS unless you can full throttle and monitor it on the wideband. thats not something i can control.

i agree! Its like this....i need to tune my car, but that cannot be done for two reasons. 1) turbo is brand new, needs to break in before i can hammer on it. 2) no wideband installed, and the wideband cannot be installed because i dont have the guage pod for it yet. So its a multitude of things/ things that build upon each other.
On the other hand....i love the car and check out my other thread in the main p5 area, pics and info in that one. I kinda lost this thread, i think it was moved into this section?
