Speed3 with a bra....

I am looking for the black bra just the hood portion. Have had 6 clear bra'd cars and while I like them, on white they will stain and show marks over time. Been there done that with 3M and another make on two different white vehicles. Still a great product though.

That said, does anyone know of where to get just the black hood portion?

You should look at the clear bra. You can't even tell it's there.

Did you install it yourself, or have it professionally done?

get it professionally done. find a place that also is good with custom cuts on the material. this way they can customize the look and fit. I had my mirrors, pillars, door handles, rockers and rear bumpers done. most all of that was through custom work. blank material is cheaper than the kits and thus it not only saved money, but looked better as a result.

I got mine for 1100 professional installed, but it covers front bumper, headlight, side mirrors, side fender, hood, side skirt, and rear bumper and it's life time so I can replace them when needed. A bit expansive but definitely worth the investment.

On the install I described on my Accord, $500 and he even replaced the front on my Accord and the one on Trailblazer after each incurred minor damage from hitting something....$100 for each. Zero issues.

It's all up to the installer. My guy is in Dayton, Ohio. He's litterally done most all of my cars and at least 10 of my friends and co-workers.

may I ask how much you paid for it?
