well I have got it all figured out, now I knew one day I wanted my car to be fast, and I think I have finally figured out how I wanna go about doing this. I plan to save all summer, along with the money I already have, and to go all out for the end of summer and my next school year by driving the fastest car in the parking lot. Having a wagon that can spank all those damn rustangs and firechickens. Anywayz, back to my plans,

Turbo, I am thinking I am gonna go through extreme machines, but I have had word of a place in richmond(BC) that does this.

I plan on getting all of my internals reinforced so thatmy car can take some more boost.

and this is more or less an extra, but it would also be pimp, although I am not sure if its possible. Is there a nitrouos system out there that only runs to a certain rpm, like from 0-4 per say, because I am thinking somthing to tide my car over while the turbo spools up. All in all these are what is going to be happening to my p5 by the end of summer.

What do ya'll think, and one more thing, if anyone knows the sort of price I can expect for getting my internals done out~. in canadian of course.
;) well all in all,

I am thinking one fast wagon~

I don't know about specifically for the P5 but there are on-demand nitrous systems. The one I saw most recently kicked in at WOT from 3K RPM to near red line. I don't know if you'll find much below 3K RPM.

It's gonna cost mad cash. Prepare to dump about 10,000 or more into that bad boy. Forged internals custom job I'd say. You could save on the nitrous and get a smaller turbo that will spool up faster. Our cars are pretty light. You would need to put three full grown men into your car to equal those mustangs.

yeah...it's gonna be pretty tough to beat those mustangs...i know a lot of people don't like them cuz they're american trash and all...but a big V8 is somewhat tough to take off the line...even modded WRXs have trouble running 'stangs and camaros off the line...but good luck anyway

One solution for the nitrous rpm issue is a RPM activated Window Switch from MSD. What this does is allow you to specify at what RPM you want let's say the nitrous to kick in and at what rpm you want it to dissengage. I have an extra one laying around from when I had nitrous. It has never been used, and I could sell it to whoever needed one.

WELL my .02 is to tell you to stay away from the N2O if you are going with a turbo....and as mentioned....with the proper sized turbo, it will be all spooled up by about 2800 rpm anyway...and IF you are going to run a guy from a light....and I can only assume since you are planning on making this mad fast car that you have a manual transmission.....well just do a 3K launch....your turbo is all spooled up and ready to go.....I personally think you are asking for a LOT of trouble if you are going to try and use the nitros down low and NOT at wide open throttle....which is where its really ment to be used.

oh and since you didn't mention it....remember to upgrade things like your tranny, flywheel, clutch/presure plate, and the axels.

Oh yeah...and I forgot to mention one of the absolutely MOST important parts that you need to upgrade....your BRAKES!!

its probably the number one aspect of a car that people do not upgrade when they are increasing the performance of their cars...

dude...if you are going to make it faster ...... as in GOING faster....you better make it faster at slowing down as well....or you once again are asking for trouble.

:{D

OK large turbo and N2O are not the answer you are start to sound like a honda owner. I am running a T28 turbo with a TD05H turbine housing and I get full boost as soon as 2300 RPM. I had N2O on my car with the turbo and never used it so don't get it. As far as internals you won't have to go custom per say go to the FI section and look at the Forged Pistons thread I believe it is Bryan Pendleton has been so kind as to provide his Work Order numbers with JE and Crower for his rods and pistons and prices are right along with most of the crower and JE prices I've seen 400 for pistons and rings and 600 for rods. Our crank is good for 400 hp as it come from the factory forged. Just get a smaller turbo like a decent sized T3 or a T25 like what the Mazdaspeed is using just don't use the joke of an intercooler they used on the mazdaspeed. Go custom mount man I'm using a starion more than ample for our applications and you can pick them up pretty cheap on Ebay another good intercooler for us to use is a intercooler from and Izuzu NPR GREAT intercoolers but run usually about 200 bucks. If you want a new one then go to spearco for that answer and you will get a high quality intercooler for not too too much cash but you will pay for it. Get in touch with spoolin he is selling a non-intercooler kit I believe for 2300 bucks then you could add your own intercooler later. That is just my .02

a few more questions, all the kits speak of additional injectors, what is the purpose of this compared to stand alone. I am alost curious as to what amount of horsepower the p5 would have wit a turbo running 16 psi or somthing around there witha properly tuned engine. ALso, is aem starting to make stuff for the mp3/p5, if so what? thanx for everyones help

At 16psi you would probably have about 280 to 300hp untill you blew the head off the engine,...which would happen.
