Specific torque specs for spark plugs (Mazda5)?

I did mine according to the manual on the spark plug packaging - finger-tight, then quarter turn or what was it.
Thank you - I now recall this is what I did. Big relief!
I did not apply di-electric grease to the boot - does it matter - NGk did not supply though?

Also I did not pay attention to the grip of the boot - boots were not replaced either. What is the best practice or most common? Some m/cs are adamant about not changing the boots unless there is damage and they do not care the grip.

What MPG are u guys getting on Gen 2! Its a beautiful car but would like a bit more MPG! What can be done?

BTW - Denso (90919-01275:: DENSO 3499) does not provide such instructions if you buy it from Toyota dealer? There is another car i just worked on - still wondering about torquing since one of the old spark was loose! Had this corolla for 2 yrs. This gives easily 25 to 35.

My service manual (for '07) has the plug tightening torque listed as... 10-14 N.m { 1.1-1.4 kgf.m, 8-10 ft.lb }

Still getting 20 ish city and 34+ highway. OE plugs, 90k miles, use royal purple for cleaner, and always full synthetic oil for the regular changes
IME, more mileage is about driving style, load, traffic, and the maximum amount of mileage you could possibly get is about engine maintenance.
