I take it your the MSP in question. In that case, you have to post on their board to defend your honor.

no Mathew, I think everyone in the world knows your car. Im talking about jaytee

one day i was at my laptop looking at ur pics on mazdausa.com. and i went on one of my rants...everyone here goes on those...and i told her ur turbo was called the disco potatoe. she said this "the car is nice, but he shouldn't be putting food in his engine. it's bad for it."

love my grandparents, make for some hilarious true stories

Hey don't worry matthew we got your back. My brother in law own's a 02 Modded 5-speed SE-R. Most of the people on the Vboard's are cocky as s***, they just don't know you.

come on fellas...i gave you guys respect being on this board....im a member of the vboard...if he doesnt like the spec or sentra in general..thats cool he can still post...but be respectful...if he wants to rant on like he did...he has a standing invitation here to get royally spanked by a car he doesnt like.

god who cares damn. he posted he beat a MSP. get your panties in a twist why dont you. Damn who gives a ****. The Spec V and MSP are both gay and slow, happy now?

different car different use.

Stock Spec V faster the msp in a stright line. Handles like s*** non-independent rear suspension. I know i drove one and almost give the sales lady a heart attack.
stock MSP slower in stright line. but well own the spec v on the turns.

As for the weak motor point. Both cars have weak motors. I've talked to a lot of spec v owners who blew up their stock motor. Same cheap car.

Now if we going to talk about modded vs modded car... U should look up a members like Bryan or discreetspeed i'd guess both of them are in the 13 second range or SonicRacer with $1300 mods and got into 13 second range safely.

once again different car different use

also look at

http://forums.thevboard.com/viewtopic.php?t=23046
vs
http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82539

10 MSP in 13 sec
4 Spec V in 13 sec

now keep in mind that there are only 5000 or so MSP

I understand this we had at least 2 guy boosting 15 psi on stock internals with no Fuel Managment. That was crazy.

ANyways i do like ur car. I thought about getting one. At the time i wanted a turbo. but now i'm wishing i went NA

those links imho have no representation of total potential a car has...i have a 13 second slip that im not proud of..missed a gear and coasted the remainder of the track! it was 5th and 5th is aproximately 80 percent of the back portion of the 1/4th mile for me... this was also taking off at idle but anyways there would be more...1. if it was boosted or some form of f/i from the factory because... 2. most guys are trying to do it N/A and are coming VERY close..how close would the MSP be w/o fi? who knows! but 3. its all relative, the cost of going fast is expensive..however there is always going to be someone who gets somewhere cheaper..

I'm not downing the MSP what-so-ever...i actually like the car and imho it does have more potential from the factory in a regular tuners hands as far as basic bolt ons...however i believe the qr25de in the spec has overall more potential in the hands of a more advanced not so regular tuner...building to the gills so to speak...for example..give the spec f/i on a stock motor

but in conclusion msp vs spec = drivers race...the better driver will win
