I have the 2010 Mazda 3 Sport 2.5L
Realized that it uses Platinum plugs with heat Range of 5. Cant get them locally but there is an Iridium of same heat range that will work. Some places say it's fine, but a close friend [who sells the iridium plug too] warned me against using it. Says it will affect performance and fuel consumption.
Can anyone advise.
TBH, plugs are not that bad. Car has only 20k miles on it but I noticed the porcelain part starting to turn brown/yellow.
