Spark Plug Change Leads to Engine Light throwing Cat Code?

Hi, I had sparkplugs changed last week in my CX-5 2022 Turbo and after driving for about 20 min the engine light goes on, throwing a catalytic converter code. Any ideas what might be going on? Will take to Mazda next week. The car runs well. There's a smooth idle and plenty of zip on the highway.

I am getting to change plugs on my 23 cx5 turbo so all years on what happened..i do have oem plugs in hand...stupid money...for plugs.

Hopefully the plugs you used were NGK OE Laser Iridium's, and literally nothing else, not even the NGK Iridium IX's.

Was there any oil on the plugs when you pulled them out? And did you inspect the coil pack boots?

Did a shop do the work for you? Independent mechanic? It sounds like you provided the parts - if they were not the OEM Mazda plugs, what is the NGK part number of the plugs used?

As far as I know, outside of the OEM plugs, only the NGK 90288 (DILKAR7M8) plugs are proven to work as well as the OEM plugs, by a few members here, myself included. Additionally, there's one member who used Autolite XP5682 plugs, installed back in January. Zero issues reported by the poster with those plugs, so far.
